Junk Art
Junk Art is made up of materials that we would normally discard as trash. It is an art form free from intellectual concerns and labels. The Postwar European School masters like Jean Dubuffet (1901-85) and Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968) introduced theories of Junk Art like Art Brute, Ready Made, and Anti-Art into the high art world in the early 20th century. They took daring approaches to what was deemed acceptable art. This became a viable practice among the modern masters.
I too aim to overcome the mainstream concepts of what art "should be" by designing Junk Art. It protests the commonplace, everyday aesthetics of art in today's society. By using mundane objects that people ordinarily consider disposable, and assembling them in an unexpected manor challenges the very nature of art. In an effort to share these ideals with society, I sell random Junk Art here. You never quite know what you are going to get but I promise it will make you open your mind. My ambition is not to become famous, but to keep limitless ideals of art alive through the unconventional approach of Junk into Art.
